The Atherton offers nine beautifully appointed guest rooms in the main building, as well as an apartment on the second floor of the Carriage House, located directly behind the inn.

Room and Suite Overview

• 2 King Suites: The Ironstone Suite & The Nittany Suite

• 4 King Rooms: The Scholar's Room, The Colebrookdale Room, The President's Room, Room 1933 in honor of Mary Delaplaine

• 2 Queen Rooms: The Garden Room, The Buckhout Room

• The Loft of 1933: 3rd Floor Room with 2 double beds

All rooms feature a private ensuite bathroom, smart TV,  & fiber-optic wifi. 

Suites include a mini-fridge and a Keurig.

Carriage House Apartment

The Carriage House offers guests elevated privacy during their stay. The apartment features 1 bedroom (with a double bed), a living room equipped with a pull-out sofa, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a washer/dryer.  PET FRIENDLY.

Please note that, while the inn does not have an elevator and most guest rooms are located on the second and third floors, the first floor does feature The Scholar's Room (king) and The Garden Room (queen).
